Evidence from 2021 Murfreesboro Murder Case to be Presented to a Rutherford County Grand Jury

Murfreesboro, TN - Evidence from a murder that occurred in Murfreesboro on April 24, 2021 is headed to the Rutherford County Grand Jury.  The case started with a “Shots Fired” call at the House of Hummus at 1621 Middle Tennessee Boulevard.

The case will be heard before a Rutherford County Grand Jury on March 1, 2023. At that point, additional charges could be filed. Currently, 28-year-old Apollo Shandale Cantrell is facing a second-degree murder charge and a possession of a firearm by a convicted felon charge.
