Mayor McFarland delivered the ‘State of the City’ Address on Tuesday Evening (Watch)

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Mayor Shane McFarland discussed the City’s major 2022 accomplishments in his latest “State of the City.” The interview / discussion with Public Information Officer Mike Browning can be watched below.

Mayor McFarland addresses accomplishments and challenges in managing a growing city, particularly infrastructure needs and costs. Among the key highlights of the interview:

The Community Investment Trust providing proceeds to the City from the sale of the MED
Downtown Redevelopment, including daylighting Town Creek for a future park and Broad Street multiuse re-development
