(READYVILLE, TN)  Residents of the tornado ravaged Readyville community remain in shock. In the meantime, sight-seers attempt to get past police roadblocks, roaming construction crews are attempting to offer special deals to do repairs, and realtors area trying to get new listings to sell property. Deputies are ushering those people away from the area. Security around Readyville's tornado damaged area is severely limiting access 24/7 by unauthorized persons.

Rutherford County Sheriff Mike Fitzhugh and Mayor Joe Carr told WGNS News . . .

County Public Information Officer Lisa Kaye is at the Command Post in Readyvile and she told WGNS . . .

Sadly, looters, scammers and sight-seers are a part of any disaster. That's why all volunteers are required to sign-in every day at the tornado command post. It is located at the New Hope Church of Christ, 4296 Murfreesboro Road in Readyville. You will be issued an arm band to wear that day.

Deputies are ushering everyone without the arm bands, out of the tornado recovery area. NewsRadio WGNS will keep you informed.
