MTSU's Todd Art Gallery 

An Exhibition of artwork from Ashley Buchannan, a recent Murfreesboro Painting Laureate, and Sandra Williams is currently featured in the MTSU Todd Art Gallery, Todd Hall, Room 210. Between Ashley's paintings featuring Augmented Reality and Sandra's beautiful work of hand-crafted jewelry, you don't want to miss! Todd Art Gallery, Dr. Barbara, and Leroy Hodges announce this Summer's juried Collaborative Contemporary Art Exhibit. A unique, multisensory experience that provides an enticing glimpse into each artist's inner world and platforms. Whether addressing politics, the pandemic, public health, education, the economy, societal concerns, environmental concerns, cultural history, or heritage, the intent is to provide the audience with a multicultural showcase across generations, ethnicities, and communities. Boro Art Crawl Event / Artist Reception: June 8th @ 5–8 p.m., and CrawlTalks 6:30–8 p.m.

The Boro Art Crawl is looking for Visual Artists, Demonstration Artists, and Musical Performers for the next Art Crawl scheduled for Thursday, June 8, 5-8 p.m. Artists interested in showing and sales during the Crawl should apply by this weekend by visiting our Crawl Call. All interested in Demonstrating and Performance during the Crawl should email Troy Cheairs at legacyink@gmail.com.

Center for the Arts (210 W. Main St.)

The RAA and Boro Art Crawl are looking for artists to display their work in Downtown favorite Joanie's Murfreesboro, 13 South Public Square. Gregory Lannom's fantastic artwork is currently on display, with Joanie's management looking to establish a two-month rotation from various artists. Main Street Murfreesboro 

In collaboration with Main Street Murfreesboro, and Sip Shop, and Stroll, the Art Crawl announces our first Chalk Art Contest. Starting at 3 p.m., June 8, we invite you to come to do your thang on the street. Each artist and group of artists will be assigned a space and be in the competition for Best in Show and several prizes. While there are three youth categories through adults and groups, we especially wish to encourage our High School members to participate. Church Street Gallery 

Church Street Gallery's A Fresh Cut on Flowers, inspired by the art of Mary Miller Veazie, is on exhibit through June 10, 2023. Featuring the work of more than 30 artists, you'll find a wide variety of interpretations and discoveries on the subject. In addition, CSG and M&J Home proudly host additional locations for CrawlTalks events on June 8. From 5 to 6:30 p.m. CSG will feature Murfreesboro favorite Meagan Armes, with an artist talk and demonstration. M&J Home is in the process of finalizing its featured artist.

Church Street Gallery is looking for artists to display in front of the gallery on Crawl night. So whether you are interested in June 8, August 4, featuring artists of the Rutherford Arts Alliance for American Artist Appreciation Month, September 15, featuring your MTSU Connection, November 3, or December 1, there's an evening of the Crawl we'd like to host you. Rutherford Arts Alliance 

The Rutherford Arts Alliance presents the 5th RAA Visual Arts Group annual exhibition. Entitled Creatives: Five Years of the Rutherford Arts Alliance, this is a call to current and new members to apply to participate. This year's event will take place in the remarkable gallery space of The Center for the Arts. Scheduled June 26 - July 30, 2023, we'll install the art on June 22 with an Artists' Reception and Artist Panel on July 14 to coincide with the opening of Peter Pan, Broadway's timeless musical. The uninstall will take place on July 31. Stones River Crafts Association 

The Stones River Crafts Association seeks craft artists interested in showcasing their studio as a host/stop during the upcoming Art Studio Tour the weekend before Thanksgiving. Artists of all media interested in membership and in being a guest at a host/stop are encouraged to visit and apply: Be a Tour Artist

Freddie Jones, author of Slave to Success, is looking for website specialists for https://www.slavetosuccess.org, which is hosted by W/O code, https://www.wocode.com/  Freddie is looking for a specialist to update a small portion of the website's content: his new book photo, prices, and a couple of sentences. Please visit his website and submit your comments and interest – fjones@slavetosuccess.org.    If you can make these changes upon receipt of your comments, we can discuss the details of your service and cost. Perhaps developing a new website will be considered later.
