MURFREESBORO, TN - A woman reportedly went to a local Walmart store to buy Pepsi and left with with not only soda, but also three flat-screen television sets. Police report the problem with her purchase is that the she only paid for one of the three items... the Pepsi. The theft was reported on June 5, 2023 at Walmart on Memorial Boulevard in Murfreesboro.

Now, authorities are attempting to determine the woman's identity. Evidently, the person of interest may have to answer to the courts with shoplifting charges, according to Murfreesboro Police. Authorities told WGNS whoever stole the three flat-screen's, did so at the self-checkout by failing to scan the TV's in – thus failing to pay for them. The MPD has released a Be On the Lookout (BOLO) for the woman who was captured on a surveillance camera when the shoplifting incident occurred.

The person of interest drove away in an older molder Ford Crown Victoria that was red in color. Walmart workers were able to get the license plate number, but the plate returned to a red Chrysler 200, and not a red Ford Crown Vic'.
