(MURFREESBORO) Sheriff Mike Fitzhugh promotes three officers with the Rutherford County Sheriffs Office. Sgt. Troy Hooker to lieutenant over the SWAT Team, Cpl. Ashley King to sergeant of Court Security in the Judicial Services Division and Cpl. Jason Roberts to sergeant of Transport in the Judicial Services Division.
- Lt. Hooker serves as commander of the SWAT Team. He also serves in the Training Division. He has almost 28 years of experience with the Sheriff’s Office. He previously served as a patrol deputy and detective.
- Sgt. King served as a patrol deputy before his transfer to Judicial Services. He joined the Sheriff’s Office 25 years ago.
- Sgt. Roberts worked as a patrol deputy before joining Transport with Judicial Services. He has served with the Sheriff’s Office for 19 years.
