As we inch closer and closer to the new school year, more and more organizations are stepping forward to help students who otherwise, may not have school supplies. Both Rutherford County and Murfreesboro City Schools will open for a half day on Monday, August 7, 2023. The first full day of class will be on Tuesday, August 8th (Scroll down for more information on the school calendar).
H3 Church (His Holy Hill Church) will hold a Back-to-School Backpack and School Supplies Giveaway on Monday, July 31, at 5:00 PM. The event will include free backpacks, school supplies, ice cream, face-painting and more. Parents are encouraged to bring their school-aged children to this free event on the 31st of this month at His Holy Hill Church. The event address is 1630 South Church Street in Murfreesboro at suite 112.
