Focus on Rutherford County with County Mayor Joe Carr

• Today's (7/26/23) "Summertime Blues" enforcement to catch aggressive, impaired and distracted drivers (2:30-8:30PM) in Rutherford, Davidson and Coffee Counties. 
• Help for NON-PROFITS: First is Aug. 11, 2023 (7:00-8:30PM) at MIddle Tennessee Expo Center. It will focus on Feed America First. 
• LANDFILL comments
• PROPERTY TAX: first bills go out in October, 2023
• GENERAL ASSEMBLY reconvenes Jan., 2024 and County Mayor Carr feels there will be hope for impact fees and development fees. However, when asked about will the increased PROPERTY TAXES be rescinded if the state grants the new fees, the county mayor indicated that it would be up to the county commission, and doubted it would all be reduced.
