(MURFREESBORO) There was a patriotic gathering at 3:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon (99/16/2023) on the west side of the historic Rutherford County Courthouse as members of the local Sons of the American Revolution and Daughters of the American Revolution celebrated the beginning of Constitution Week, Sept. 17-23, 2023.
The Constitution of the United States was signed by 39 of 55 delegates who were attending the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia on September 17, 1787.

In addition, Commander Doug Dickerson with the local Sons of the American Revolution, presented Colors. They were dressed in uniforms of that period.
