NASHVILLE, TENN - The investigation into a murder that occurred this past Saturday in Nashville,  has led to the arrest of a Murfreesboro man. According to Metro Nashville Police,  26-year-old Kelvin Stowers Jr. Was found dead in the 3900 block of Keeley Drive in South Nashville.

As a result of the investigation into Stowers death, detectives named 28-year-old David Samuel Henry of Murfreesboro as the murder suspect. Henry was located in East Tennessee’s Jefferson County. MNPD detectives have sworn out an arrest warrant charging Henry with criminal homicide. On Wednesday,  Metro officials reported the Murfreesboro man would be picked up and returned to Nashville in the near future.

A Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper later spotted the vehicle in Jefferson County.  Upon seeing the small sport utility vehicle on Wednesday (09/27/23), the trooper initiated a traffic stop, and took Henry into custody.
