MURFREESBORO, TN – About 200 citations were written by law enforcement officers over an 8-hour window during a special traffic enforcement operation last Friday in Murfreesboro. Rutherford County Sheriff's Deputies, Murfreesboro Police and Troopers with the Tennessee Highway Patrol focused on the area of Medical Center Parkway between I-24 and Memorial Boulevard during the operation. MPD Public Information Officer Larry Flowers highlighted some of the citations that were written on Friday... According to Flowers, only one citation was written for a child not being properly restrained in a car seat. Murfreesboro Police Lieutenant Greg Walker said, “Please slow down, buckle up, and stay focused on the road.”
