(MURFREESBORO) Due to some scheduling conflicts with Oakland, the October Meeting of the Rutherford County TN Historical Society, scheduled for Monday October 16, 2023, has been CANCELLED. We will reschedule this speaker and topic sometime during 2024! Please let any friends or members know that might not have email and/or text messaging.
The Rutherford County TN Awards Banquet has been rescheduled for Friday, November 17, 2023. Doors open at 6pm. and dinner is at 6:30pm. We will have a short business meeting to elect officers for the upcoming 2024 year! The meeting is open for members & spouse/guest and not open to the Public. We will conduct a short business meeting and vote for officers for 2024!
Menu for the Banquet: Parmesan Garlic Chicken Breast; Homemade Meatloaf; Mashed Potatoes; Southern Green Beans; Tea; water, Dessert.
Cost is $25 per person. Please mail a check to the RCHS, PO Box 906, Murfreesboro, TN 37133-0906 or bring by the Ransom School House some Saturday. DEADLINE TO PAY IS November 11, 2023. We will not be accepting online paypal payments for this event.
In order to give an accurate number to the caterer, no late reservations will be permitted and we cannot take payments at the door.
Come by the historic one-room Ransom School (717 N. Academy St. in Murfreesboro) this Saturday (9AM-Noon) and enjoy free coffee, donuts, and conversation with us. This is free and open to the public.
