During the first half of the show, WGNS's Scott Walker talked to guests from the Child Advocacy Center that serves Rutherford and Cannon Counties. Guests were Jessica Wauchek, Presley Hosford and Karista Colwell from the CAC. As a guest of the CAC, Chase Patterson with Middle Tennessee Electric also joined us on air. The Turkey Tee Off will be held on November 4th at the Smyrna Golf Course in Smyrna, TN. The Turkey Tee Off is an annual golf tournament, will begin with an 8 a.m. breakfast. The tee-off will be at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023. Slick Pig BBQ is helping the organization with a hearty lunch that is included with tournament fees. This year marks the 13th year for the Turkey Tee Off.
During the second half of today's Action Line, WGNS' Scott Walker was joined by Amber Overcast. One the program, Amber talked about the Walk to End Alzhemier's, which will be held this coming Saturday at Siegel High School in Murfreesboro. Registration for the walk will begin at 8:30 and continue up until 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2023.
