WGNS has more street racing news to report, with yet another arrest in Nashville. In this case, one person maybe out $100,000. The suspect who was arrested lives in Murfreesboro - see more details below.

The suspect, a known street racer - according to police, has been charged with felony vandalism after allegedly facilitating an unsanctioned meetup earlier this year on Airpark Center Drive East that caused more than $100,000 in damages. 25-Year-old Austin Scott of Murfreesboro was arrested by the Tennessee Highway Patrol in Rutherford County on the outstanding warrant after being identified as a suspected lead organizer for Night Riderz.

Mr. Scott was booked into the Metro jail this past Thursday on a $35,000 bond and was released on Saturday. He was previously arrested in August on 15 charges, including rioting, inciting a riot and reckless driving.

According to Rutherford County Court Documents, Mr. Scott received a speeding ticket last year, but with the agreement of him taking a class in driving school, his guilty plea was dropped.

The Metro Nashville Police Department Traffic Division says they are committed to continuing its investigations into street racer groups that are causing damage and harm through their dangerous driving.
