RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN - In a bid to solve a case involving stolen credit cards, detectives from The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office have released surveillance camera photos of two individuals who allegedly used the stolen cards to make purchases at the Walmart on Old Fort Parkway in Murfreesboro. The incidents occurred on December 16 and December 21, prompting law enforcement to seek the public's help in identifying the suspects.

Sheriff’s Detective Christian Wrather, the lead investigator on the case, revealed that the stolen credit cards were traced back to vehicles parked at Stones River Battlefield on Old Nashville Highway. In an effort to aid identification, the Sheriff's Office has disseminated images of the suspects captured by surveillance cameras during the illicit transactions.

Both subjects, depicted in the released photos, were observed wearing surgical masks, with one photo showing them donning a stocking-type head cover, while the other displayed them in hoodies. Detective Wrather emphasized the importance of community involvement in solving crimes and urged anyone with information about these individuals to contact him directly.

People who may have relevant information or recognize the suspects are encouraged to reach out to Detective Wrather via email at cwrather@rcsotn.org or by phone at 615-904-3093. The Sheriff's Office relies on the cooperation of residents to enhance public safety and bring perpetrators to justice.

Detective Wrather also took the opportunity to remind visitors to Stones River Battlefield to exercise caution and refrain from leaving valuables, particularly credit cards and forms of identification, in their vehicles. Such preventive measures, he noted, could mitigate the risk of falling victim to similar crimes in the future.

As the investigation unfolds, the Sheriff's Office remains committed to fostering a collaborative relationship with the community, underscoring the importance of citizens' contributions in resolving criminal cases and maintaining a secure environment for all.
