Murfreesboro, TN - The Murfreesboro Police Department has an update relating to the theft case at Dollar General on February 11th. The previously issued BOLO (Be On the Lookout) alert has been officially canceled. Law enforcement authorities have successfully idientified the person of interest in connection with the incident.

Murfreesboro, TN - Local authorities are urging community members to come forward with any information regarding a recent theft incident at the Dollar General on Cason Lane. The incident, which occurred on February 11, 2024, has prompted detectives to seek assistance in identifying a person of interest captured on surveillance footage.

 According to reports, the individual in question left the scene shortly after the theft took place. Investigators believe he may have fled in a vehicle described as a possible 2000's model Toyota Sedan. Additionally, detectives are hoping to gather more details about the suspect's appearance, particularly his distinctive jacket, which could aid in the identification process.

Detective Shan Harris, leading the investigation, emphasized the importance of community involvement in solving the case. "We're asking anyone who recognizes the individual depicted in the surveillance photos or can provide information about the unique jacket he was wearing to come forward," stated Detective Harris.
