Rutherford County - Seven schools in Rutherford County have been awarded STEM grants from the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). These grants will support various STEM programs and initiatives at the selected schools.

As part of the grant requirements, the schools will be showcasing their STEM programs through demonstrations in March. This provides an opportunity for the schools to highlight the impact of the grant funding on their STEM education initiatives.

The seven schools receiving the TVA STEM grants are Central Magnet, Riverdale High School, Smyrna Elementary, Smyrna Primary, Stewarts Creek Elementary, Stewarts Creek Middle, and Stewartsboro Elementary.
