(MURFREESBORO) Special programs at all Rutherford County Library System (RCLS) branches will be presented on the day of the eclipse. The eclipse will be at lunchtime on Monday, April 8, 2024. It begins at12:45PM, peaks around 2:00PM and ends at 3:30PM (all Central times). 

RCLS Library Assistant Taylor Davis said, "You are encouraged to be at the Rutherford County Public Library branch nearest them by 12:30PM.

Computer Classes Continue

RCLS Technology Director Trey Gwinn said the TEC Center (Technology Engagement Center) at 306 Minerva, also offer 3-D printing, virtual reality sessions, recording studios and more. 

Free computer classes continue at the TEC Center on Mondays and Tuesdays at the TEC Center. 

Gwinn noted that each library branch has staff who can help you with smart phone issues.
