Missing Teen Safely Located

Murfreesboro, TN – A teen who was reported as missing in Murfreesboro has since been located. Public Information Officer Larry Flowers with the Murfreesboro Police Department confirmed, "Good News - 17-year-old Jackson Bobier has been safely found."

Previous Report: A 17-year-old who has volunteered with the Lions Club over the years is believed to have run away. Murfreesboro Police issued a MISSING PERSON REPORT on Jackson Bobier of Chickasaw Road. He allegedly ran away while his mother was sleeping early Wednesday morning, May 16, 2024.

Police listed Jackson in the NCIC (National Crime Intelligence Center) files as a missing runaway.

Just 4-years ago, Jackson joined the Murfreesboro Lions Club at age 13, because he wanted to help with their many community programs. He initially was selling pecans and helping with pancake breakfasts, but quickly expanded to collecting eye glasses for the sight impaired.

Officers were told that Bobier was in the Ritz Lane area, and attempted to locate him, but were unsuccessful.

Jackson Bobier is a 17-year-old white male, approximately 6-feet 2-inches tall, and weighs around 175 pounds.
