Amazon and First Responders Provide Handgun Cleaning Supplies to Rutherford County Sheriff's Office

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN - Amazon's fulfillment center on Joe B. Jackson Parkway in Murfreesboro has generously donated a range of handgun cleaning supplies to the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office. First responders from Amazon's Middle Tennessee fulfillment centers delivered the products to the Sheriff's Office on Tuesday.

The donation included essential items such as solvents, gun oil, rust protection aerosol, lubricating oil, cleaner and lube, and gun scrubber. These supplies will aid in maintaining the firearms used by the Sheriff's Office, ensuring they are kept in optimal condition.

Sheriff’s firearms instructors, Sgt. Sean Vinson and Detective Jeremy Murdock, expressed their gratitude for the donation and said they appreciated the supplies.

The items were delivered by Amazon’s Loss Prevention Manager Danny Thornton, a former Franklin Police K9 officer; Loss Prevention Specialist Jeremy Moore; Corporate Senior Engineer Brandon Williams, a former Davidson County Sheriff’s Office deputy; Loss Prevention Specialist Gabrielle Blunt, a former U.S. Marine Corps military police officer; and Loss Prevention Manager Jeff Benson, a former deputy from Nye County (Nevada) Sheriff’s Office and a former Brentwood Police officer.

The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office extended their thanks to Amazon and the first responders for their generous contribution.
