Thu. (July 4, 2024) 10AM-afternoon The ROCKVALE INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION at the Rockvale Community Center (9972 Rockvale Rd.). It's the "oldest 4th of July" celebration in Rutherford County. It began in 1927! This community event is at the Rockvale Community Center. The picnic will include food, beverages, corn hole tournament, youth softball tournament, and much more. Proceeds from the picnic are used for the upkeep of the Rockvale Community Center building, playground, and ball field.
