SMYRNA, TN - In a surprising act of audacity, a theft situation unfolded at a music store located in Smyrna. Apparently, some people believe that musical instruments are best acquired without the inconvenience of payment. The Smyrna Police Department now seeks to identify an individual who was captured on camera around the time of the reported theft at Jonathan Fletcher Music.

Located at 144 North Lowry Street, Jonathan Fletcher Music became the stage for this less-than-harmonious event on June 20. The suspect, who evidently prefers to remain unnamed and un-billed, was seen roaming the store, possibly looking for a solo career in kleptomania.

The Smyrna Police Department is on the case, and they’re requesting the community's help to identify this mystery musician. So, let's help the Smyrna Police bring this thief back to reality and ensure that Jonathan Fletcher Music can continue to provide instruments to those who actually intend to pay for them. If you happen to recognize this unknown man, who clearly needs a lesson in lawful behavior, please contact Detective Stephen Hannah. He can be reached at (615) 267-5146 or through his email at stephen.hannah@townofsmyrna.org.
