DAVIDSON COUNTY, TN - In neighboring Nashville, a months long investigation by the Metro Special Victims Division detectives led to Thursday's arrest of Alvaro Martinez Jr. on two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor after tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children prompted an investigation into explicit materials being sold online through multiple Twitter (X) accounts.

During a voluntary interview with SVD detectives, 20-year-old Martinez admitted to owning the accounts to sell pornography, according to a release from the Nashville Metro Police Department. A subsequent search of his phone led to the recovery of images seen online.

Martinez was taken into custody without incident this afternoon on Old Hickory Boulevard in Antioch. He is currently jailed in lieu of $70,000 bond.
