Is It Time to Cleanse the Political Palate?

MURFREESBORO – At such a divisive time in our country, politically and in many other ways, can the American people come together? It has been a politically charged year.

A debate in which an argument about golf handicaps was all most people could talk about. But the weeks since has also seen an assassination attempt on a former president’s life, an embattled Secret Service and search for answers and a sitting president dropping out of the presidential race after questions about health concerns.

MTSU Political Science professor Kent Syler emphasizes the need to cleanse our political palate:

Syler says it's important to be informed as you go to the voting booth November 5th. But as radio host Dave Ramsey has said on his show and in social media, "no matter what happens in the White House, take care of YOUR house."

Visit ruco.vote to see the ballot before you get to your voting location and to get informed on your candidates. Also, listen to Chip Walters’ conversation with Kent Syler on a recent episode of the Roundtable on WGNSRadio.com.
