At the end of every summer, hundreds of hummingbirds can be found at Barfield Crescent Park filling up on delicious nectar and insects before making their way south. Many people come to enjoy the chatter and beauty of these tiny flyers. At the Hummingbird Festival, these amazing creatures are celebrated and can be experienced firsthand. There will be children’s activities, guest speakers, hummingbird merchandise and more. NOTICE: Banding starts at 7:30AM, and other activities starting at 10AM.
