SMITHVILLE, TN - In nearby Smithville, TN, a 31-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly contributing to the delinquency of a minor, in addition to soliciting “sexual favors” from a 14-year-old through social media.
The suspect, who lives in McMinnville, TN, was arrested by Smithville Police after an investigation that included an undercover operation. According to partner station WJLE in DeKalb County, Smithville Police Chief Mark Collins said during the recent investigation of a runaway, detectives determined Pack gave a juvenile a ride from Smithville to Warren County. That ride further prevented a safe return of the female teen to her family or to law enforcement. Chief Collins stated, “Also, Pack, through a “snap chat,” solicited an undercover law enforcement officer posing as a 14-year-old female to come to his house for sexual favors.”
“During an interview, Pack admitted to these charges,” Collins concluded. 31-Year-old Toby Denton Pack was booked under a $12,500 bond and later released.
