(RUTHERFORD COUNTY) - The Salvation Army in Rutherford and Cannon counties will open for 2024 Angel Tree Registration for families with children 12 or younger on Tuesday, October 1st. To make it easier for families, all applications will be completed online. The application system will available 24/7 from 8am on October 1st, but spots are limited and will be first come first served. The application window will close on October 25th OR when all spots are filled, whichever comes first.

“We are excited to announce our angel tree registration this year will be completely online. We feel this will make it easier for families to access without having to add stress or additional expenses from travel or taking time off from work to come to our location and apply in person.” says Sgt. George Keith, Corps Officer.

Families living in Rutherford and Cannon Counties are eligible to apply. Families can only register children 12 and under and will be required to upload proof of residence, proof of age for children, and proof of financial need. Full requirement details can be found at SalvationArmyMurfreesboro.org.

Our Senior angel program registration has already been completed through our partnership with local nursing home facilities and we will not be able to register additional seniors at this time.

For those in our community looking forward to adopting angels, they will be available beginning November 9th, 2024.
