La Vergne, TN - Based on security camera photos, the La Vergne Police Department began an early Saturday (11/23/2024) investigation into what they thought might be a possible kidnapping. According to the time stamp on the video, the incident occurred around 1:55AM in the 1600 block of Percy Street.
The persons in the surveilance camera were not there and the identify of the two individuals was not known.
That's when La Vergne detectives released the pictures and the public identified the two persons.
Authorities located all subjects, and after interviewing three individuals, the investigation concluded that no charges would be filed.
La Vergne Officers take every report seriously and are always concerned about the wellbeing of our citizens and visitors. We appreciate the help from our community who identified those involved in this case.

La Vergne, TN - Officials with the La Vergne Police Department have successfully identified the victim and suspects in this investigation. No one was harmed, however the investigation is ongoing. The LPD is thankful to the community for their support and efforts.
