The spirit of helping others is strong throughout Rutherford County, and during this Christmas season, the La Vergne Fire Rescue Department extends its thanks to Coca-Cola Consolidated and the community's Walmart Supercenter for their gracious donations, which helped amazing kids complete their shopping spree.

The La Vergne toy store is still collecting gifts for children through this coming Wednesday (12/11/2024). La Vergne accepted applications ahead of time for families to register their children to participate in the Christmas joy.

Donations can be made at the main lobbies of La Vergne City Hall or the La Vergne Police Department (5093 Murfreesboro Road), La Vergne Public Library (5063 Murfreesboro Road), or Fire Station 41 (283 Old Nashville Highway).

Yes, 'tis the season for helping others, and that sentiment is felt strongly in La Vergne.
