Governor Bill Lee has declared a state of emergency due to the winter storm, forecasted to dump 4-8"+ snow across the Volunteer State.

Rutherford County Schools - CLOSED - the central office will be closed all extracurricular activities are canceled
Murfreesboro City Schools - CLOSED - including ESP.
MTSU - CLOSED - only essential personnel report
Motlow State Community College - Open remotely, campus CLOSED
TCAT – Murfreesboro & Smyrna - Virtual Learning Day Friday
Middle Tennessee Christian - CLOSED (MTCS' Extended School is also CLOSED)
Franklin Road Christian - CLOSED
St. Rose of Lima - CLOSED
Lancaster Christian Academy - CLOSED
Lancaster Christian Early Learning Centers - CLOSED
Rutherford Collegiate Prep - CLOSED
Bill Rice Academy - CLOSED
Georgia Institute-Murfreesboro - CLOSED
Primrose Preschool - CLOSED - Preschool and Daycare also closed
GOVERNMENT
Rutherford County Government Offices - CLOSED - for all non-emergency personnel
Rutherford County Cconvenience Centers - CLOSED
Smyrna Town Offices - CLOSED - for all non-emergency personnel
La Vergne City Offices - CLOSED for all non-emergency personnel
Tennessee Valley Healthcare System - outpatient clinics and administrative offices will be closed both Friday & Saturday. The Alvin C. York VA Medical Centers will remain operational for emergent and urgent care.
Rutherford County Library System - All Branches CLOSED

SPORTS
All Rutherford County high school extracurricular activities are canceled for Friday
Region 6 Bowling Tournament scheduled for Saturday (January 10th), 2pm, at Smyrna Bowling Center has been changed to Wednesday, January 15th at 2pm at the same location.
