Mt. Juliet, TN - A 42-year-old Murfreesboro man, wanted on multiple felony charges in Rutherford County, was apprehended Wednesday (3/12/2025) afternoon following a routine traffic stop on I-40 East. The suspect, who had evaded authorities for nine months, was stopped by an officer for driving a vehicle with an expired license plate.
During the stop, a records check revealed that the man was subject to a full extradition, nationwide warrant issued by Rutherford County authorities. The warrant stemmed from a felony failure to appear charge connected to allegations of felony evading in a vehicle, possession of drugs, and tampering with evidence.
The suspect is now in custody and awaiting further legal proceedings. No additional details have been released at this time.
