A new law in Tennessee will allow for more virtual schools. A virtual school allows for students to take classes online. In nearby Nashville, some 100 kids will be enrolling in virtual online classes during the upcoming school year. Rutherford County is currently examining the costs involved in starting virtual schools. Rutherford County may even partner with Nashville in offering online classes in the future.
