The NEW First Bank office that is in front of the Publix Shopping Center on Highway 99 had their first full day on Monday.
Customers Enjoy Teller Pods
Vice President and Financial Center Manager Tory Dahlenburg told WGNS News it was a busy first day, and customers were fascinated with the teller pod systems (see below) He proudly noted that this new FirsBank branch opens the door to a new era in customer convenience . . .
(Above photo L-R) FirstBank's Rebecca HoHoadwonic, Vice President and Financial Center Manager Tory Dahlenburg, help a customer using the innovative new teller pods at the the new branch.
Teller-pods have been tested in other markets for about two-years. We asked Dahlenburg about customer reactions . . .
(above photo) This is the new FirstBank teller pod, and customers can walk all the way around the unit while the teller is completing the transaction. Dahlenburg also noted that it will be impossible for the teller to remove money from the vault beneath the pod. This gives added security to a customer's money.
Local Art
FirstBank not only has wall paper made-up of hundreds of large, easy to see photos that depict history of Murfreesboro, but the art on display around the new bank is by local persons. Jane Ayers, wife of FirstBank Owner Jim Ayers, chose artwork created by local artists as being another way the bank can be an even more integral part of the community.
Note:
The South Church Street office is now closed and the staff has moved to the new location in front of Publix.
