Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Department will host its annual Greenway Art Festival at Old Fort Park along the Stones River Greenway in Murfreesboro this Saturday (September 21, 2013) from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This event is a gathering of the finest artists in Middle Tennessee.  Talented artists will display and sell their work along the Greenway trail at Old Fort Park.  Patrons can browse through booths of original artwork in a family friendly park setting.  Oils, acrylics, watercolors, pottery, sculpture, jewelry, and other original artwork will be available, as well as music, food vendors and kids’ art activities.

This is a juried festival and is sponsored by Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Department, Friends of the Greenway and Tangerine Spa and Salon. This year’s poster, designed by artist Lucas Antoniak, will be given away free with a minimum five dollar donation to Friends of the Greenway.
