Several Rutherford County Commissioners were recently recognized for their years of service on the county commission.  During the September 14th meeting, Commissioner Jeff Jordan presented the following commissioners with a County Commission Service Award.

• Commissioner Gary Farley has served for 20-years
• Commissioner Carol Cook has served for 24-years
• Commissioner Steve Sandlin has served for 24-years
• Commissioner Joyce Ealy has served for 24-years
• Commissioner Allen McAdoo has served for 36-years
