Parents in the area of John Pittard Elementary School may have seen increased police action on Thursday. John Pittard is located in Murfreesboro on DeJArnette Lane. According to M-P-D Officer Amy Norville…

“Murfreesboro Police Directed Patrol Unit was asked to assist Criminal Investigators and Probation and Parole services in doing a home check.  There was some possibility of weapons in the home so extra precautions were taken.  Upon arrival at the home on Earl Court a family member was very vague in whether or not the subject was at the house.  She then did confirm he was there but that he was in the attic.”

At first the suspect refused to surrender, but eventually made his way down and was taken into custody. 22-Year old Michael J. Wigley was charged with “Violation of Probation.” He was wanted in Coffee County. Wigley told police he was a member of the Arian Nation subgroup known as the Untouchables.
