The Blackman High School football field will have to be re-leveled and fixed after a female allegedly drove her Ford Explorer across the field several days ago. The damage is estimated to be a minimum of $1,500.

Authorities say that witnesses were able to obtain a license plate number on the SUV and it returned to an address in Rockvale. It is now only a matter of time before the suspect is tracked down and possible warrants are obtained for vandalism.

No word on why the female, possibly a teenager according to witnesses, drove across the field.
