A 60-year old Murfreesboro man has been charged as a habitual offender and “Driving on a Suspended License for the 6th time.” Byron Looper was pulled over on Battleground Drive for having an incorrect license plate on his truck.
Looper has had three “Driving on suspended” convictions in the past three years alone. When Looper was caught by police driving down Northfield and then Battleground Drive, he was currently on bond for driving on a suspended license.
The reason Looper had a suspended license, the report cited "Failure to satisfy." In most cases, that means the culprit failed to satisfy a citation payment or failed to set up a payment plan to the courts for a fine / citation cost.
Looper is set to appear in court on April 21. He was released on a $10,500 bond Sunday evening.
