Phase two of the Veterans Parkway project is moving forward as scheduled in Murfreesboro. Phase two links what use to be called Kimbro Road to Barfield Crescent Road, near the entrance of Barfield Crescent Park. Gravel is already down and construction of a four lane bridge over the Stones River is underway. Veterans Parkway will eventually make a loop around Murfreesboro so that all sections of the community are more easily accessible.
