Memories of hand-dipped ice cream and shakes from the foutain inside the glass brick fronted Red Rose Dairy are strictly in the minds of some lucky residents. That structure is now a pile of rubble. It took one day for that structure at the corner of West College and West Lytle Streets to be razed. 

Investors looked at preserving the structure to house a museum and other purposes, but it reportedly was deemed too far gone for repair.
