Ben Wilson, President of the annual Uncle Dave Macon Days Music Festival, announced this years recipients of awards on Wednesday.
Wilson said the award winners will be on stage at Cannonsburgh in Murfreesboro during the second weekend of July this year.

Representatives of Uncle Dave Macon Days presented by Beaman Automotive Group and RAM Trucks and Legacy Sponsor Wilson Bank & Trust made several new announcements concerning the 2015 Old Time Music Festival to take place the second weekend of July 2015 at Cannonsburgh in Murfreesboro.
New Festival Executive Director Named

Heritage Award Winner Announced
Dr. Ralph Stanley was announced as the festival's 2015 Heritage Award Winner. Stanley is a recipient of multiple awards, including a Grammy for his haunting rendition of 'Oh Death" in the movie O Brother Where Art Thou, and is considered a legend of Bluegrass and Old Time Music. Read More Online
Trailblazer Award Winner Announced
The Nashville-based band, The SteelDrivers, will be presented the 2015 Trailblazer Award. The band has received multiple Grammy and IBMA award nominations for their fusion of many genres and styles into a contemporary bluegrass feel that's getting nods from many audiences. Read More Online

Music will begin this year at 2:00 with hymns and praise by Andy Collins & friends and old fashioned shape note singing.
