Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital has announced the addition of two new members to its senior leadership team.
Welcome Dr. Donald Denmark
Dr. Donald Denmark will be serving as the hospital's new Chief Medical Officer.
Dr. Denmark attended the University of Alberta in Canada for undergraduate studies in medical science. He then received his medical degree from the University of Alberta. After medical school, he studied at the University of Western Ontario and St. Joseph's Hospital for a residency and rotating internship in family practice.
Since 2011, Dr. Denmark has served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Carondelet Health Network in Tucson, Ariz.
Welcome Michael Gatch
Additionally, Saint Thomas Rutherford introduced Michael Gatch as the hospital's new Director of Mission Integration and Community Benefit.
Gatch received his master degrees in pastoral care from Southern Seminary and hospital administration from Birmingham Southern College. Since 2010, Gatch has served as the System Director, Mission Integration and Pastoral Care at St. Vincent's Health System in Birmingham, Ala.
