The new, wider and straighter major road project that involved Manson Pike, Gresham Lane and Fortress Rosecrans is now open. City of Murfreesboro Engineer Chris Griffith said, "Traffic was shifted to the new section of roadway late Wednesday night without any major incidents."

Griffith commented, "It was truly a team effort that would not have happened without everyone’s efforts. Our senior inspector Jeff Jaco led the efforts but was assisted by Darryl Hopkins (Engineering), Ram and Jeremy Messer (Transportation), Doug Jenkins (SEC), and Ben Lawwell (TTL)."
