Local 4-H Horse Judging Team Places in Regionals

The Rutherford County 4-H Horse Judging team just returned from the Southern Regional contest in Tunica, Mississippi. The team placed fifth overall out of 15 teams representing states all across the Southeastern United States. The team won the Tennessee judging contest in June and represented the state in the regional competition. In the coming months, they'll compete in the Eastern National horse judging contest in Louisville, Kentucky. Rutherford County team members are Shana Boteler, Faith Duke, Kara Lay and Jessie McMahon. Pat Kayser and Mitchell Mote coached the Rutherford County team.
