A listener writes that more of the long-time ranking leaders of the police department need to be included on the tributes. One being Major Clyde Adkison. His dedication as the driving force behind CrimeStoppers for about 30-years has made this a safer community. They said that Major Adkison is one of those dedicated peace officers who feels it is his responsibility to be helping others--even when he is "off duty". Plus, he is a positive role model for other officers. Adkison believes in always improving your abilities. He has a master's degree from MTSU and is a graduate of the FBI Academy.
