The Dept. of revenue is reminding Rutherford Countians of the 6th annual sales tax holiday this Friday through

Sunday. During these 3 days Tennessee shoppers can save nearly 10% on tax free clothing, school supplies and computer purchases. The sales tax holiday is designed with Tennessee families in mind to provide them with savings and help with the back to school needs. During this weekend consumers will not pay state or local sales tax on selected clothing with a price of $100 or less per item, school and art supplies with a price of less than $100 or less per item and computers priced for $1,500 or less.
