The Rutherford County Historical Society meets in the County Archives Building at 7:00 o'clock Monday night (8/15/2011). State Archaeologst Dr. Sam Smith gives a Power-Point presentation on early Tennessee pottery. He is a noted authority on this subject. The Archives is at 435 Rice Street, on the small road that goes immediately in front of Hancock Fabric.
