The Murfreesboro Rotary Club continues its support of the local Red Cross. They presented the Heart of Tennessee Chapter with a check for $5,000. The club meets every Tuesday at noon for lunch at the Stones River Country Club.

Local Red Cross CEO Greg King said, "The Red Cross and Rotary have had a long-time relationship from when several members took disaster assistance training to help in times of local emergency, to sponsoring blood drives and helping in numerous other ways". 

The reception area in the new Red Cross headquarters at 501 Memorial Boulevard will now be known as the Murfreesboro Rotary Club lobby.
