LaVergne Police Athletic League to Hold Yard Sale

The Family Police Athletic League, based out of La Vergne, will host a community-wide yard sale, on Saturday, Sept. 17, beginning at 7 a.m. at Merchandise Liquidators (5237 Murfreesboro Road) in La Vergne. This is the Saturday of the City’s Old Timers’ Festival. Many of those participating were not allowed in the festival this year due to entry-rule changes.

Ten by 10 booths are available to rent for $25 each.
 
To rent a booth, please call Laurie Moore at 354-3241. Hurry, space is limited.
 
The Family PAL was formed in 2000 by current Exec. Dir. Gerry Howse. More than 600 young people are currently in or have been involved in the program since it’s inception. Many of those who were with PAL at the beginning are in college now. The Family PAL is the only PAL in Rutherford County and one of few in Middle Tennessee.
 
The PAL is a 501 © 3 non-profit organization.
