Authorities may have another clue in the robbery of the Smothie King in Murfreesboro this past Monday night. Police in Smyrna evidently had a similar robbery at the Hot Spot Tanning Salon on Saturday night. There, the description of the robber, a 6-foot tall white male between the age of 20 and 30, robbed Hot Spot Tanning. The man was caught on a surveillance video camera. Victims of the robbery told police the man said “thank you” after getting his hands on the money he was after. The man also told the victims that he was armed, yet never displayed a weapon. It was the same scenario at the Smoothie King.

Despite the similarities and the fact that both hold up’s were caught on tape, no one has been caught. Law enforcement officials say the robber may be driving a small white truck, possibly a Ford Ranger. If you have clues that could help police – your clues could be worth cash.
